{"id":418,"date":"2023-12-19T14:25:48","date_gmt":"2023-12-19T19:25:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/hssocf.com\/?page_id=418"},"modified":"2024-07-17T23:25:58","modified_gmt":"2024-07-18T03:25:58","slug":"2023-24-hssocf-post-season-requirements","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/hssocf.com\/?page_id=418","title":{"rendered":"2024-25 HSSOCF Post Season Requirements"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Referee must:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Score minimum 80% on the FHSAA test\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Rank 1 = 90% and above<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Rank 2 = 80% and above<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have a current on \ufb01eld evaluation\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Evaluations can\u2019t be more than two years old<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Crew Selection options\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Referees have the opportunity to choose their crew\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Crews must submit who they want to work with by January 22, 2024<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>All three referees must agree to the crew in writing prior to Districts<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The entire crew must be up to date on evaluations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Crews can\u2019t switch referees unless approved by HSSOCF Evaluation committee and\/or FHSAA.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The HSSOCF Evaluation committee can form crews based on Rank and Location<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Coordinate evaluation with assignor\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Crew members being evaluated pay a $90 evaluator fee at the field (no checks)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Crew members do not have to be evaluated at the same time<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Recommendation committee will decide which referees move forward depending on the following:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Test grade<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Evaluation score<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>HSSOCF meeting attendance (minimum 3)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>HSSOCF Varsity game count (minimum 20)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assignment issues (turnbacks, tardiness, \u201cno shows\u201d, school-initiated blocks)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>HSSOCF ranking<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assignments past District games are assigned by FHSAA in Gainesville and crews may be split up depending on evaluation scores or other reasons<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>HSSOCF has 4 approved Evaluators:<br><a href=\"mailto:davidh@aaoptom.org\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"davidh@aaoptom.org\">David Harrison<\/a>, <a href=\"mailto:monkeyref@gmail.com\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"monkeyref@gmail.com\">Greg McCoy<\/a>, <a href=\"mailto:fanbait@aol.com\">Rick Richardson<\/a>, and <a href=\"mailto:michelcatin@yahoo.com\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"michelcatin@yahoo.com\">Michel Catin<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Referee must:<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":7,"featured_media":0,"parent":0,"menu_order":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":{"footnotes":""},"class_list":["post-418","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"http:\/\/hssocf.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/pages\/418","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"http:\/\/hssocf.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/pages"}],"about":[{"href":"http:\/\/hssocf.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/types\/page"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"http:\/\/hssocf.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/users\/7"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"http:\/\/hssocf.com\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fcomments&post=418"}],"version-history":[{"count":5,"href":"http:\/\/hssocf.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/pages\/418\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":468,"href":"http:\/\/hssocf.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/pages\/418\/revisions\/468"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"http:\/\/hssocf.com\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fmedia&parent=418"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
